Some of Sanaz’s students had never touched a computer before her class. That is the starting line of the Wings of Change digital program in Madagascar: not which framework to learn, but what a cursor is, what a file is, and the discovery that the machine responds to you.
For the past five years she has volunteered as a computer science teacher, building a bridge across that knowledge gap step by step: from the first click to confident digital literacy, from digital literacy to first lines of code, and from code to a grounded, ethical introduction to AI. The tools matter less than the shift in posture: students stop seeing technology as something that happens elsewhere, to other people, and start seeing it as something they can shape.
The goal is never the tool itself, but the confidence to imagine a different future with it.
Wings of Change runs schools and programs for underprivileged youth in Madagascar, from a hotel school to the digital program where Sanaz teaches. Her classes run online, connecting Dubai to classrooms full of students who are, one click at a time, writing themselves into the digital world.
